Auto Alert in Form Templates
A New Feature of Auto Alert for Form Templates is Implemented in Perm Assist.
Business Requirement
Some users(Surveyors) wish to receive alerts after some specific number of days after the letter is sent to the customer.
PermAssist assumes the letter is sent to the customer when the letter is saved as the document.
When the user clicks on save as a document
- PermAssist automatically creates a Task.
- The Content specified in the Auto Alert setup is populated as Task Description.
- The Task is by default assigned to currently logged in user.
- Task due date will be the date after X no. of days configured in Auto Alert Setup.
How to Setup Auto Alert for Templates
- Go to System Admin > Form Templates
- Click on Setup Auto Alert
- Enter the number of days (Days to alert) for which you want to setup alert (**Note: This will set the due date of Task)
- Add the content (** Note: This will be populated as Task Description).
How to Test Auto Alert
Assuming that we have already setup Auto Alert for Form 1 - Application for Building Permit
- Go to Test Application > Click on forms
- Click on Save to documents
- This will generate and save in the documents section.
- PermAssist would have now automatically created a new task.
- Go to Task and check if any task is created
- If a task is created you have setup Auto Alert Correctly.
