We’ve tinkered with the inner workings and polished some rough edges to make our software faster and more reliable to provide a better experience and innovative imagination. The PermAssist is now better than it was. Here are some features you’ll find in the latest update:


What’s New?

1.Sorting

  1. We just made your daily tasks much easier (as we usually do) with the all new feature for sorting checklists and conditions based on category and items in System Admin.

2.Copy documents across applications

  1. Want to copy documents to another application? Not a Problem.
  2. Now you can use “Copy current Application” function in application details section to copy documents from original application to another application.

3.SEARCH External users

  1. Now PermAssist will allow users to search external user’s name in system admin. This feature will reduce hassle of scrolling the pages to find the desired user.


4.Required Certificates on Tracking Page

  1. We’ve updated the application tracking page to display the “Required Certificates”.

5.Nominated levy payer in applicant portal

  1. In a slight change to the form template in applicant portal. Now you will be able to pre-define the nominated levy payer in form template in applicant portal.

6.Additional fields in Application Levy - (For Tasmanian Application Users)

  1. Now Tasmanian users can see following 
  1. No Of Male Sanitary 
  2. No Of Female Sanitary 
  3. No Of Persons For Exits

7.Application Tag 

Now PermAssist allows you to add application tags based on the office.
8.Written Directions

We tuned up the written direction section and now you will be able to do the inspections effectively with our newly implemented features.

9. Public Inspector Portal

PermAssist now provides contract inspectors to use public inspector portal.
Additionally, they can view the inspections through the email link without login to the system.


Enhancements

1.Form Templates
  1. From today on wards, you will notice PermAssist will allows you to save forms to the specified folder which is now more stable.

2.Application Contact

Surveyor Portal
  1. Now PermAssist automatically sets “Australia” as default country in application contact details.

  1.  Now PermAssist Allow hyphen (-) and apostrophe(‘) for First Name and Last Name fields in application contacts.
  1. This will be usefull for VIC clients when they are submitting VBA report to the BAMS.
Applicant Portal
  1. Now PermAssist will allow users to add ABN/ACN  for Owner/Builder/My Account/Building Practitioner/Natural Person.

3.SMS Log in Application Event Log

  1. PermAssist now allows users to view the SMS log in Application Event Log section.

Bug Fixes


If you have tried updating booking note in inspection scheduler, you would have noticed that booking notes field is not pre-populating which was confusing. And finally, if you have been having editing issues with booking note in inspection scheduler, you should no longer be having them.
